These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://powerten.in (the “Site”) and any purchase of Powerten-branded products or services from Bewerten Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (“Powerten”, “we”, or “us”). By browsing the Site or placing an order you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

2. Use of the Site

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not probe, scan, or test its vulnerability; attempt to gain unauthorised access; introduce malware; or scrape content for commercial republication without our written consent. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached.

3. Product information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure product specifications, warranties, and prices on the Site are accurate, but occasional errors may occur. If a material error is discovered after you place an order, we will contact you and you may cancel the order before dispatch for a full refund. Capacity, backup-duration, and savings estimates are indicative and depend on your specific load profile and local conditions.

4. Orders and installation

• A consultation is mandatory before installation: a Powerten specialist will confirm feasibility, load, wiring, and required permits for your home.
• Orders are confirmed only after successful payment and the electronic installation agreement is signed.
• Installation is carried out by Powerten or our authorised installer partners. Typical lead time is 14–35 days from payment, depending on city and stock.
• You are responsible for ensuring safe site access, a compliant electrical supply, and any building-society / RWA approvals.

5. Pricing, taxes, and EMI

All prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable GST unless stated otherwise. Installation, wiring, and civil works beyond scope will be quoted separately. EMI offers are provided by third-party financiers and are subject to their approval and terms.

6. Warranty

Powerten products carry the warranty published on the product page at the time of purchase — typically a 10-year warranty on the battery (capacity retention above 70%) and a 5-year warranty on the inverter. The warranty is void for damage caused by unauthorised modification, improper installation by non-Powerten technicians, misuse, or acts beyond our control (lightning, flood, fire, vandalism).

8. Intellectual property

The Site, brand marks (Powerten, Raksha, Swayam), product design, photography, firmware, and software are the exclusive property of Bewerten Solutions Pvt. Ltd. or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Powerten app only to operate the Powerten system you have purchased.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Powerten’s aggregate liability for any claim arising out of your purchase or use of the Site is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost savings, lost business, or loss of data). Nothing in these Terms limits your non-waivable statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

10. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including floods, earthquakes, pandemics, shortages of components, strikes, acts of government, or internet outages.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to the mandatory consumer-protection jurisdiction available to you under Indian law.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above indicates when this document was last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
